Veteran female celebrities, Onyeka Onwenu and Patience Ozokwor threw decorum to the wind
and engaged each other in a verbal war of words. The cause of this was traced to the goodies from the Presidential campaign funds earmarked for the purpose of lobbying artistes to support the failed President Goodluck Jonathan re-election bid.
According to This Day News, Onyeka Onwenu deviced a 'juicy' channel through which the campaign mobilization funds meant for lobbying the creative practitioners would flow solely through her. This did not go down well with the sharp-minded Patience Ozokwor who wasn't cool with the arrangement and went out of her way to hustle for herself and secure her own direct link to the Presidential campaign team to disburse the goodies to colleagues in their industry.
Onyeka Onwenu on getting wind of this move by the nollywood actress got angry and this resulted in a public exchange of abusive words. The two veterans were recently spotted at the Africa Magic Igbo launch in Enugu state and the tension between them was quite noticeable.
